All active participants are guaranteed to find gold.
Course Time:
We start at 10.15am with gold washing if no other arrangements have been made. We will finish no later than 4.30pm back at the camp site.
Instructions:
The instructor is present for the duration of the course. The introduction includes information about the geology of the region and the occurrence of gold. This is followed by a complete and interesting instruction on how to wash for gold with a pan and off it goes to the practical experience. In the afternoon we will be washing more efficiently as a team with a gold sluice box. Now we know how to use the gold sluice box. we continue our search for gold. Working collectively we can achieve more success. We will share any gold finds equally so no one misses out.
Equipment:
All participants will be provided with a gold wash pan, a hand shovel, a small glass for the gold and knee or hip gum boots. In addition I provide large shovels, a large gold sluice box to be used in the practical search for gold.
Pre requisite:
Anyone can participate in my gold wash courses. At the moment the place where we wash gold is only 300 metres from the meeting place.
Fire pit with grill and wood:
At lunch time I will light a fire to cook your lunch. You can bring your own food to cook and eat or you can order your food with me. Under catering you will find the food available for order in advance. I provide seating around the fire for your convenience. If it is raining a over will be provided.
