Course times:
This course is offered two times a day.
The morning one starts at 10.15am and the afternoon one starts at 2pm if not arranged otherwise.
The duration for the half day course is 2 1/2 hours.
Instruction:
The Gold Washing Course will be led by me or an experienced gold seeker.
You will receive a theoretical introduction which includes information about geology and gold occurance in the region. This is followed by instructions on how to gold wash using a range of equipment. This is followed by the fun part, using the equipment provided to actually search for gold. There is still gold left in the river.
Equipment:
All participants are provided with a gold wash pan, a hand shovel, a small glass for the gold find, and gum boots. For team work a gold sluice box will be used.
Prerequisite:
Anyone can participate in gold washing and the area we search for gold is close by. Please check the weather beforehand and wear appropriate clothing. It can get quite cold even in summer!
Fire Pit with grill and wood:
If you are in a group you can book the fire pit with grill and wood to cook your own food.
Alternatively you can book catering and I will cook the food for you. Check out catering on the website to explore the options and costs.
There is enough seating around the fire for everyone.
Cost for Half Day Fun Gold Washing (for groups up to 60 people):

The use of the fire pit with grill and wood can be reserved for groups for CHF 50.- .
